Product Description

 The Flutterbug 049 / 400

47" Wingspan for .8cc / .049ci glow or diesel engines or speed 400 or equiv. electric motors ( 50w to 80w brushless electric motors )

The FMK Flutterbug for 2-3 ch standard size radio as a small field rc glider style trainer, many flyers have learnt to fly on this model ( over 50,000 sold so far! ) , most flyers learnt to fly without any tuition as it is so easy to fly, many landing it first flight! ( we always reccomend getting someone to teach you to fly to check its set up correctly etc ), this model will fly hands off like a freeflight model, stable, easy to fly, slow glide, if it starts to crash and it has great self leveling properties.

Quotes!
" A Resounding Success", "It's advertised as a trainer, both for flying and for building and that is exactly what it is - exactly right for the job." " Very complete and well cut components ","very easy to build" , " simple to fly and very stable "
A bad point mentioned was the plan was faint, at that point we copied them on a OKI plan copier but now each one is printed out on a large format HP Designjet plan printer so plans are very clear and dark print.

Older reviews of the die fut or bandsaw cut kits
Revewed back in 1997 February / March SilentFlight Magazine as a speed 400 power model , the review was of the die cut version of the kit, the kit we sell now is the laser cut model for even easier construction. and superior accuracy
